Beledweyn, (insidesomalia.org) - The inhabitants of Baladweyn town the headquarters of Hiran region in central Somalia have started shifting their abodes in the town due to constant fears from the Ethiopian troops in the region.
The Ethiopian troops who have recently stationed themselves at the town have started frequent military exercises within some sections of the town especially during the nighttime.
The other main reason that has forced these residents to move away from their shelters is because they are scared of being trapped between battle of the Ethiopian troops and the Islamist groups who are believed to hiding somewhere in the region.
The few residents of the 4 sections of Baladweyn town are showing great anxiety about their fate after they missed their neighbors on their sides.
Some people who have earlier shifted from the Somali capital Mogadishu due to frequent conflicts are among these people shifting
In downtown Baldweyn you would see parents dashing with their children and carrying few of their belongings on their heads or on a donkey carts.
The last time for the residents of Baladweyn to leave the town was before 14 years ago and after their return the town boomed with business and density populated with people.
